Live Bands
Although our bands are not employees of PPE Events, we work with many independent artists, managers, producers, and music groups. We would love to help you land some of those talented folks and act as an intermediary for
your event. We protect your financial interests and can clearly disseminate all the information and requests to the artists. Our platform allows for the ease of picking music, setting times, and are available by phone during
normal business hours.
Audio Production
From running live sound for a band to 40 microphones simultaneously for a convention or business meeting – trust the ones with Professional in the name. We have the experience that matters. We are also the visual experts
in the field and can orchestrate a tripod screen up to a 100′ wide flown screen. Our techs have worked for some of the biggest names in the industry and are ready to be deployed to your project as well!
Karaoke & Karaoke Machine Rentals
From Bohemian Rhapsody to Tequila by the Champs, we have the music to host any karaoke night or event. We also rent professional karaoke machines that are easy enough to setup on your own. Our machines include the NEO 22
PRO, Acesonic DGX 220 and the CAVS 205G with just over 17,000 licensed tracks from Lightyear Music. More information about rentals can be found below!

Weddings
Our roots in the event industry draw on our original home before PPE Events. The position that owners Manny Dearmas and Josh Horn held allowed for them to oversee a combined 5,000 weddings and over 10,000 events. Our wedding DJs are
trained event expediters and in addition to playing music they will also help coordinate the events of the day along with acting as your master of ceremonies. We dress to impress although we wont show up in a TUX unless asked (Fair
warning we will need to close our eyes, whoosah and then channel 1984 but we can do it!). We realize its 20 years into the 21st century and modern couples have tastes that have changed.
Bar/Bat Mitzvahs
Interactive and engaging entertainment go deep with PPE Events! Our Bar/Bat Mitzvah packages include a DJ, a dedicated Emcee and expediter, and then a group of 2 to 4 party motivators & dancers. We also offer smaller two person
teams that effectively split these duties for a more bite sized cost party. Paired with a green screen photobooth – we have packages that are well suited to the journey through faith celebration.

Karaoke
Sing like no one is watching!
We offer both full service karaoke DJ nights at your event and karaoke machine rentals in St. Louis. Karaoke machine rentals include wired microphones, hdmi output for a TV, and around 17,000 licensed CD+G karaoke graphic tracks.

PPE Events is great! We met them at a bridal show last year and booked a videographer. Our wedding ended up postponed last fall due to covid and they were the easiest to work with for rescheduling and didn’t charge me a fee. We lost our photographer and DJ as they were already booked on our new date and after speaking with Josh we decided to book them for those as well. Nicole and Manny were a dream team for photo and video and everything turned out perfect. The DJ was absolutely perfect. He knew when to speak up and when to let the music do the talking. We chose a more moderate DJ after our phone call and they followed our music list perfectly. Things to Know
Our streamilined package starts with up to four hours of service. No, we don’t offer a discount for events that are shorter than four hours. Yes, we can definitely extend our time at your event. Extension rate of $50/30 minutes
or $100/hr. Gold standard offers five hours and Professional entertainment offers unlimited time within reason!
We use only professional equipment and professional DJ software. Our DJs use Serato and DJ controllers. Each DJ comes equipped with a wireless & wired microphone along with a set of dance floor lights. Our speakers range
from 12″ to 15″ and are assigned based on your guest count, venue location, and whether you are indoors or outdoors. We do recommend upgrading to our premium sound package if you exceed 250 guests at your event.
We subscribe to various legal music sites that distribute promotional music including Promo ONLY and Club Killas. Rest assured that our music is legal, will sound great without distortion, and will come from a deep library of
tracks. Our library contains classical music through current top 40 hits. In regards to requests before your event; as long as it was commercially released and we can still obtain the license to it – we will acquire it for
you at no cost if for some reason we don’t have it.
We offer online planning, questionnaires, and music lists. We also offer our wedding and clients that request – a complimentary consultation closer to the event date to go over the event details.
Our DJs carry a backup bag that contains a backup of most parts, peices, and cables needed to make it through any event. Call it a swiss army knife if you will! We also are on call with additional equipment in case a speaker
or controller has a malfunction as well. All special and requested music is also brought in duplicate in case our first line has a malfunction. Rest assured – we have done this before!
